As the daughter of foreign missionaries, Betsie had the privilege of being a part of, and learning about, many different cultures. She has had a passion for loving God, loving people, and doing all that she can to help others know the love of Christ for as long as she can remember.
Bestie has been serving as music director at First Baptist Church Creedmoor for over twelve years, and loves the work that surrounds worship and music ministry.
She feels that Christians have a great responsibility to not grow weary or faint, but to become stronger in Christ, sure of their calling, and obedient to all that their Heavenly Father asks them to do. Two sayings that describe her passion for sharing Christ with our world are, “If not us, then who?,” and “If not now, then when?”
As you attend worship here at First Baptist, we pray that you will find God in the hearing and singing of music, in the reading of Scripture, in the proclamation of God’s Word, and in your response to God’s beckoning and constant call on each of our lives to come closer. May you taste and see, indeed, that the Lord is good!
