Rev. Nick Garner

Nick Garner received his Bachelor of Science degree from UNC Wilmington in 2014, and a Master of Divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC.  It was at UNC Wilmington that Nick received his call into ministry. He served as president of Baptist Campus Ministry from 2012-2014 which opened the door for him to serve as Youth Pastor at Ogden Baptist Church. This experience confirmed his call to ministry and led him to attend Southeastern, where he graduated with a Master’s of Divinity in 2017. He was first called to FBC Creedmoor to volunteer with the Upward Sports program, where he realized the need for children to hear the Gospel. God called him to serve as the Children’s Pastor at the beginning of 2015.  In the spring of 2017, Nick became FBC Creedmoor’s first Next Generation Pastor, ministering to children, youth and their families.  He has a passion for missions and has gone on several mission trips across the country and internationally. His goal is to teach children and families the truth of the Gospel and equip them to teach others, make disciples, and ultimately, lead people to Christ, in whom we have salvation.
