The Cottage Thrift Shoppe

The Thrift Shoppe is a non-profit ministry of First Baptist Church that is operated by volunteers.  It is a charming vintage shop overflowing with “2nd Time Around Chic” & “Cottage Style” home accessories, clothes, collectibles, artwork, dishes, and much more!

The original shop opened in the fall of 2009 on Lyon Street.  In the ensuing years, the shop’s popularity necessitated a move, and in the summer of 2014, it relocated to the right behind the church at 101 East Church Street, where it continues to enjoy tremendous patronage on an even larger scale by the community.

Open days and time

The shop is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. On Mondays, we are open for volunteers to organize, price, and display items for sale.

Impact on our community

Proceeds from the shop go to local non-profit service organizations in the community, like Shephard Youth Ranch, Murdoch Center, Creedmoor Fire Dept., Stem Fire Dept., Brassfield Fire Dept., Families Living Violence Free, Local Schools, and more. Support is also given to FBCC Mission Activities.

Donations are accepted, and tax receipts are available upon request.
